Satra is Pacod’s sample tracker for garment factories. It follows every sample from the buyer’s inquiry to approval across merchandising, stores, pattern and the sample room, and runs in a browser on the laptops and tablets you already have.

The merchandiser records each dispatch and the buyer’s reply on the style, so every sample round and every verdict sits on one record.

Not when their buyer runs Pacod. The factory side is free in that case, and the factory’s self inspections stay private to it. A factory that wants the full Factory QMS for itself can take a paid plan.

AQL inspection checks a sample instead of every piece. The lot size sets the sample size, and the lot is accepted or rejected against fixed accept numbers. Pacod’s defaults are AQL 2.5 for major defects, 4.0 for minor defects and zero tolerance for critical ones.

AQL 2.5 does not mean 2.5% defects are allowed. It sets the plan the accept numbers come from.

ISO 2859-1 is the international standard for sampling by attributes, and General Inspection Level II is its default level. The lot size gives a code letter, the code letter gives the sample size, and the AQL gives the accept and reject numbers.

A lot of 5,000 pieces, for example, means a sample of 200 that accepts up to 10 major defects at AQL 2.5 and up to 14 minor at AQL 4.0. Try a lot size.

A CAR asks the factory to fix the cause of a defect found in a check. In Pacod each CAR carries the defect photo, an owner at the plant and a clock.

The default clocks are 24 hours for inline checks, 72 hours for mid and final inspections and 96 hours for pre-shipment. A CAR closes when the fix is verified, not when someone replies.

When they happen. Inline checks run on the line during production, while a fault can still be fixed at its cause. Mid and final inspections check goods from the lot during and at the end of production. A pre-shipment inspection is the last check before the goods leave, and it feeds the shipment decision.

Yes. Inspections are captured on the device without signal and upload when the connection returns.

No. Nobody has to publish a textile passport yet. The Commission expects to adopt the textile rules in 2027, and they would apply no earlier than 18 months after that. See the sourced timeline.

Pacod can publish a passport with a GS1 QR code and give each style an EU readiness score.
