Definitions Pacod uses consistently across product, content, and support.
- Digital Product Passport (DPP)
- A structured digital record of product sustainability and traceability data, accessible to consumers and authorities — often via QR code at point of sale.
- ESPR
- Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation (EU 2024/1781). Establishes the EU framework for DPPs across product groups including textiles.
- PEFCR
- Product Environmental Footprint Category Rules. Methodological rules for calculating environmental footprints in specific product categories.
- SVHC
- Substance of Very High Concern under REACH. Must be disclosed above 0.1% concentration in articles sold in the EU.
- GS1 Digital Link
- A standard URI format for QR codes that resolves to product information — commonly used for DPP consumer pages.
- Delegated acts
- EU Commission regulations that specify technical DPP requirements per product group. Textile delegated acts are still pending as of 2026.
