The EU Digital Product Passport registry is scheduled to go live on 19 July 2026 (2026-07-19). This is infrastructure for passport registration — not the date every textile SKU must carry a live DPP at point of sale.
Is July 19, 2026 the textile DPP compliance deadline?
No. Textile-specific delegated acts under ESPR (Regulation EU 2024/1781) are still pending. Mandatory textile DPP fields and enforcement timelines are expected in a later window — indicatively late 2028 to early 2029.
What should fashion brands do before July 2026?
